Fly non-stop between Perth and London

Qantas are adding to their list of aviation firsts with non-stop flights from London Heathrow to Perth using the Qantas Dreamliner. This service will be the first regular passenger service to directly link the Europe and Australia when it begins in March 2018^, becoming the shortest and fastest version of the Kangaroo Route in its 70-year history.

Gateway to Australia

From 25 March 2018, the 787-9 Qantas Dreamliner will depart London Heathrow at 13:30, arriving into Perth at 13:15 the next day, before flying on to Melbourne. The new route gives travellers the choice of exploring Perth, before continuing onto Melbourne, or connecting to one of eleven other destinations from Perth with a same-day connection*.

Multi-city fares connect travellers to more than 10 destinations across Australia. Explore Adelaide, Brisbane, Broome, Canberra, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Melbourne, Newman, Paraburdoo, Port Hedland or Sydney.

Perth to London route facts

The Qantas Dreamliner will carry 236 customers across Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. As one of the most advanced long-haul aircraft flying today, passenger comfort is at the forefront of its design.

  • When it launches, is expected to be the third-longest passenger flight in the world. It is the longest flight on the Qantas network, followed by their non-stop A380 Sydney-Dallas service (13,730km)

Qantas’ Economy dining experience means passengers can enjoy more generous meals, more choice, and more time with cabin crew. Passengers can choose from a selection of three meals inflight, and help themselves at the self-service snack bar.

Travellers can sit back and relax with personal on-demand, inflight entertainment system available throughout the journey, accessing over 1,500 entertainment options, including a variety of movies, TV programs, CD playlists, moving maps, interactive games and radio channels.

International Premium Economy

Relax and enjoy the journey in a private upper-deck cabin of 35 seats. With more space and dedicated flight attendants, passengers can experience a personalised service in an exclusive environment.

International Business

From check-in to arrival, it's all about the traveller.

Qantas is proud of their world class premium lounges where eligible guests can relax, work and dine prior to their flight. London is the location for the next premium flagship global lounge, due to open in 2017. The new lounge will include a full Rockpool menu and dining experience, a full-service bar with Rockpool cocktails and full bathroom facilities including showers.

International First

The journey starts from the moment travellers leave their front door with Chauffeur Drive, a complimentary transfer service for First customers on eligible international Qantas operated flights booked with a QF flight number.

Rockpool and Qantas have taken inflight dining to new heights in First. Enjoy Qantas’ unique restaurant-style dining experience, with the opportunity to indulge in an eight-course tasting menu, or choose to dine with an a la carte menu offering signature dishes.
