A short description about your blog

The USA’s Transportation Security Administration have brought into effect guidelines regarding the transportation of powdered substances in hand luggage. Effective from 30th June 2018 this new enforcement sees powders of all forms limited to a weight of 12oz. (that is 350ml or 350g) per container.

Powder-like substances greater than 12 oz. / 350 ml which are intended for hand luggage must be placed in a separate bin for X-ray screening. They may require additional screening and containers may need to be opened. Containers with amounts greater than the allowance may be confiscated. For your convenience, we therefore encourage you to place non-essential powders greater than 12 oz. in checked bags. There is still no limitation on size/quantity within checked baggage restrictions and purchases can still be made in the departures area as normal before boarding a flight.

Powdered baby formula, medicines, and cremated human remains can be exempt, but please check with the airline before travelling to avoid any issues as other restrictions may still apply.

We have received important information from P&O Cruises regarding their Service Reward Programme, which will apply to any bookings already made for cruises departing from 27th March 2017 onwards:

During your clients’ time on board, they will be looked after by lots of people - waiters, buffet staff, cabin stewards and butlers, who'll go out of their way to make each moment of the holiday special. P&O know that rewarding good service every time it happens just isn't convenient, so the Service Reward Programme provides a simple, one-off way to say 'thank you' for all the service received.
