We have received some information for you with regards to clients travelling to Banff this summer. This may be of use to them:

In preparation for the expected large number of people visiting Banff National Park and the surrounding area to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday this year, Parks Canada and local municipal transportation lines are offering several services to assist visitors moving throughout the park. Fees have been waived or reduced for some of these services to encourage people to take public transit options.

To assist you in your planning and to facilitate your passengers’ travel in this area, Parks Canada and ROAM regional transit have supplied operational details on their websites, including shuttle service schedules, parking information and maps:

· ROAM Banff Regional Transit (http://roamtransit.com/)

· Getting Around Lake Louise (http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/ab/banff/visit/les10-top10/louise.aspx)

In addition, traffic management within Lake Louise is also being set up to ease vehicle congestion and to assure that emergency vehicles may have access as needed.
